Raising the family, they enjoyed camping, the cottage in lake City,MI, and boating in Saugatuck, MI.Being on the water was a great pleasure of his.Dave's love for water began when he was growing up with a cottage in Lake City, but continued on when he had a cottage of his own. This was followed by his years of boat life on the Chris Craft and regal on Sagautuck, Mi both at Deep Harbor Marina and Singapore Yacht Club. This led him to author his own book titled "The Sinking of the Holliday's Inn." Dave and Cindy loved to travel and have enjoyed many trips around the world. Dave's faith and his love for Jesus was always a guiding force in his life and never wavered. Dave's love for his family never diminished. This was demonstrated by each word of praise, encouragement, kiss to the forehead, or just the way his eyes lit up when you entered the room. He always lifted up those in his company.
