The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Carol Holm, of Ionia, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the age of 80 
years, 2 months and 15 days.

She was born Dec. 22, 1927 in Warren, Mich. the daughter of William and 
Mildred Eneis. Carol married Henry Holm Dec. 25, 1945, he preceded her in 
death Oct. 22, 1992.

She graduated from Anchor Bay High School in New Baltimore, Mich. She was a 
loving mother and homemaker for the majority of her life.

Carol is survived by her children, Henry (Teresa) Holm of Ionia, Carol (John) 
McTaggert of Grand Blanc, Cheryl Holm of Palmetto, Fla., Dorrie Lane of San 
Francisco, Claudia Holm of San Francisco, Pamela (Dave) Richmond of Claremont, 
N.C. and Teresa Akers of New Haven, Mich.; sisters, Gerry Hayes of San Diego 
and Barbara Guzik of Auburn Hills; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2008, 11 a.m. at 
SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Melvin Fox celebrant. Interment 
Vanhoosen Jones Stoney Creek Cemetery in Rochester, Mich. The family will 
receive friends and relatives Wednesday, 9 a.m. until time of services at the 
church. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Any one wishing may make 
memorial contributions in Carol's name to the family.
