Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Branden Edward Holmes, 25, of Ionia passed away unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 25, 
2002 in Ionia.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1977 in Grand Rapids, the son of Kenneth Holmes and 
Lovie Beebe.

He is survived by his father, Kenneth Holmes of Grant; mother, Lovie Beebe of 
Ionia; grandparents, Lovie K. Beebe of Florida, and Edward (Diane) Beebe of 
Belding; daughters, Alexa Holmes and Alisa Holmes, both of Ionia, brothers, 
Carl Martin of Ionia; sisters, Louise Holmes and Kendra Holmes, both of 
Newaygo, Cynthia Holmes of Ionia and Lovie Ann (Matt) Sena of Muir; several 
aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Rev. Conrad Campbell officiating.  The family will receive friends 
and family after the memorial service for a pot-luck luncheon at Ionia Elks 
Lodge, 404½ W. Main St., Ionia.  Bring a dish to pass.  Anyone wishing may make 
a memorial contribution to family choice.  Envelopes available at the funeral 
home.
