Holt, 52, of 504 North Bridge street in Belding died Saturday in Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids. Born in Newberry, February 22, 1919, he was employed as a supervisor in the Belding factory of Jolly Kids Togs. He served with the United States Army during the European campaign during World War II. He was also a member of United Methodist church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Sportsmens club. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jean Lozo Holt in 1951. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Reese Holt; three sons, Guy in the United States Army and Randy and Dan at home. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Betty Millard of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Bonnie Craycraft of Belding; and one brother Ardeth Holt of Newberry.
