The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 5, 1985
Iva J. Holther, 69, of Saranac, died Tuesday morning at Metropolitan Hospital 
in Grand Rapids.  She was born in St. Johns on February (…illegible).  She 
married Fred. G. Holther on March 25, 1935 in Roscommon, Michigan.  They made 
their home in Ionia all of their married life.  Her husband preceded her in 
death May 22, 1978.  The following year she moved to Mill Creek Meadows 
Apartments in Saranac.  She was a member of West Berlin Westlian Church.

Surviving her are two sons: Karl of Ionia and Robert of Belding; two 
daughters: Mrs. Jean Holther of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Kenneth (Kathleen) Tucker 
of Saranac; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two half brothers: 
Don Randall and Art Randall of Portland, Oregon; two half-sisters: Mrs. Thelma 
Grayson and Mrs. Joyce McCombs of Portland, Oregon; one step-sister, Mrs. Opal 
Endeman of Portland, Oregon, and an uncle: Willard (Bill) Randall of Ionia.

Services will be held Friday at 11:0 a.m. at the Leddick Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Kenneth Hill of West Berlin Westlian Church officiating.  Burial will be 
in Balcom Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial has been established for 
Ionia County Unit American Cancer Society.  Contributions may be left at the 
funeral home.
