The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 13, 1961

Funeral service for Mrs. Anna Holtz, 80, will be held at 3 o’clock Tuesday 
afternoon at Stone Kauffman funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller 
officiating.  

Mrs. Holtz was found dead Sunday morning at her home at 634 North Jefferson 
street.  Sheriff Peter Van Vleck, Undersheriff Herman Smith and Coroner Dale 
Kauffman, who investigated, said death was due to natural causes.

Mrs. Holtz was born in Ionia January 8, 1881, the daughter of Gustav and 
Johanna Schipper.  She was married to Robert Holtz and lived on a farm in 
Ionia township until she moved to her present residence 17 years ago.  Mr. 
Holtz died in 1942.

Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
