The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 28, 1956

Funeral services for Leonard Holtz, 57, of Ionia who died Sunday morning, were 
conducted at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the Boynton funeral home.  The Rev. 
Heath T. Goodwin, pastor of the First Methodist church officiated and 
interment was in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery.  

Bearers were William Rogers, Albert Gemuend, Albert Haist and Wesley Turk.

Out of town relatives attending were Mrs. Elizabeth Phinney, Mr. and Mrs. 
Harold Phinney, Mr. and Mrs. Robert VanDam, Mr. and Mrs. Don Settle and Don 
Workman of Muskegon; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Holtz and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holtz 
of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Booth of Palo and Mrs. Ethel Campbell of 
Sunfield.
