The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 21, 1929

The funeral services for Mrs. F. W. Holtz, who died Friday morning, were held 
from the home Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock and were in charge of Rev. Howard 
J. Clifford.  The members of the Order of Eastern Star, with which Mrs. Holtz 
was affiliated, served as an escort and Henry Voelker, Glenn Pierce, Jay 
VanSickle, Otto Perry, Fred Owens, and S. A. Rochester acted as bearers.  The 
interment took place in the Highland Park cemetery.  Mrs. R. A. Colwell and 
Mrs. George Fox furnished the music.  Those from out of town to attend the 
services were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kroner, Mrs. H. Hulliberger and Jimmie, and 
Virginia Freidinger, of Chicago.
