Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Mon. April 27, 1942

Robert W.F. Holtz, 62, died suddenly Sunday at 10 p.m. from a heart attack. His 
heart had been weak for many years but he was a few hours. He was a retired 
farmer and had lived for many years on his farm in Ionia township.

He was born on Allen Street. Jan 11, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Holtz. 
Both his parents came from Germany. He was graduated from St. Johns Lutheran 
school. In 1900 he was married to Anna Schipper and it was at that time he 
moved to the farm in Ionia Township.

He is survived by the widow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29 
from the Stone funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
