Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Jan 1980

Edith Olive Holtz, a Portland native and Phoenix resident, died Saturday in
Phoenix.  Mrs. Holtz was born on March 1, 1893, in Portland, the daughter of
Rolla Goodwin and Grace Millard.  

She was a retired employee of General Motors Fisher Body Division in Lansing. 
After her retirement, she resided at 4505 N. Ninth St., Phoenix.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Payne and Shirlie Stephan, both of
Phoenix; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Neller Funeral Home in Portland with
the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating.  Burial will be in the Portland Cemetery.
