Ionia County News - Thursday, Aug. 22, 1929

Mrs. F. W. Holtz Buried Monday From Home Here

Funeral services for Mrs. F.W. Holtz were held Monday afternoon from the home 
at 413 Rice street, where she died Friday after an illness which endured for 
more than a year and a half.

Rev. Howard J. Fitch, pastor of the Ionia Presbyterian church officiated. An 
honor escort composed of the O.E.S. and the Ionia Commandery assumed charge of 
the obsequies.

She was born in Cheboygan, Wis. and was married there to Mr. Holtz with whom 
she came to Ionia four years ago to take up her residence. She held her Eastern 
Star membership in the George Jackson chapter at Chicago.
