She as born in Germany April 18, 1872, and came to Ionia 66 years ago. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church and Ladies Aid society of the church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Phinney and Mrs. Robert Van Dam of Muskegon and Mrs. Irene Booth of Fenwick; two sons, Frank Holtz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Herbert of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Two sons preceded her in death, Ernest in 1930 and Leonard in 1956. Funeral will be at Boynton funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Theodore Timler, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran church, officiating. Interment will be in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
