Vera B. Homan Passes Away In Detroit Saturday

Mrs. Vera Belle Homan, 62, of Detroit was buried here Wednesday afternoon
following services at Neller Funeral Home at which Rev. Park Newcombe
officiated.  Mrs. Homan passed away Saturday night at Receiving Hospital in
Detroit.

Surviving are the husband, E. I. Homan of Detroit, the mother, Mrs. Grace
Goodwin, of Portland; two brothers, John Goodwin, of Wacousta and Nelson
Goodwin, of Lyons; a sister, Mrs. Edith Holtz, of Lansing.

Bearers were Rolla Goodwin, Harold Goodwin, Durwood Hitchcock, Forrest Payne,
George Miller and Ralph Moriarty.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Portland Cemetery.]
