HOMAN
John Henry Homan, age 71 of Lowell, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 
after a battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert 
and Norma Homan; sisters, Peggy Allen and Nancy Hobert. John is survived by 
his wife of 35 years, Donna Homan; children, Gary (Chasity) VanderMark, Robin 
(Jeff) Kyburz, Michelle (Tony) Stepek; grandchildren, Courtney and Bailey 
VanderMark, Josh, Haley and Nate Kyburz, Gage Stepek; nieces and nephews; as 
well as brothers and sister-in-law. He served in the Vietnam conflict. John 
loved watching his son Gary racing on dirt tracks, & watching Nascar racing. 
He also enjoyed his career trucking throughout the country. The family will 
be having a private military service at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 
Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled 
American Veterans, 4809 Eastern Ave. SE., Grand Rapids, MI 49508
