Dale L. Homes, 61, of Lyons passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids 
August 9, 2001.  He was born May 20, 1940 in Ionia County to the parents of 
Adell and Madeline Meyers Homes.  He graduated from Lyons High School in 1961.

He is survived by one brother, Karl Homes of Lyons; two sisters, Peggy (Allie) 
and Ken Kosten of Sheridan and Kathy (Gary) Sprank of North Carolina; two 
nephews, Mike and Tom Kosten and three nieces, Amy, Ann and Virginia.  He was 
preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Nancy, and one niece, Lorie.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Lake Funeral home of the 
Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.  Interment Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation will be 
held on Saturday and Sunday from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Lake Funeral 
Home.  Anyone wishing may make contributions for a family choice.
