Madeline O. Homes, 65, died Wednesday following a heart attack at her home.  She
was born April 2, 1915 in Sheridan, the daughter of Edwin and Lillian Meyers. 
She graduated from Lyon High School in 1934 and married Adell Homes in 1937.

Mrs. Homes was a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church, the Golden Agers
Senior Citizens Club of Muir and the Senior Action and Power Committee.

Survivors include her husband, Adell, of Lyons; her mother, Lillian of Ionia;
two sons, Dale and Karl, both of Lyons; three daughters, Peggy Kosten of
Greenville and Nancy and Kathy, both of Lyons; three brothers, James and Fred of
Lyons and Lewis of Florida; two sisters, Myrtle Rowley of Cedar Springs and
Gladys Meyers of Ionia; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Lyons United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Howard McDonald officiating.  The family will receive
friends and relatives at the Hull Memorial Chapel until noon Saturday.  Burial
will be in Lyons Cemetery.
