HOMES
Karl Edward Homes age 75, of Lyons, Mi., passed away June 7, 2018. He was born on 
November 9, 1942 in Ionia, MI. The son of Adell and Madeline (Meyers) Homes. Karl 
graduated from Lyons High School. He enjoyed photography and especially taking
photos at the local race tracks. He also like playing euchre. He was a member of the Ionia
Moose Lodge.

Karl is survived by his sisters Allie "Peggy" (Kenneth) Koston of Fenwick, Kathy
Sprank of North Carolina; nephews Thomas (Jeannie) Koston of California; Mike (Barb) Koston of

Fenwick; special friends David Higbee and Donny Seal. A special thanks to Boyd and
Barb Meyers. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Homes, brother Dale 
Homes and niece Lorie Koston.

Funeral services will be held at the Lake funeral home in Muir on Tuesday, June
12th, at 11:00 a.m.. Interment Lyons cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior (10-11 a.m.)
at the funeral home. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Karl's family
