Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. Dec. 4, 1968

Martin Honsowitz, Sr. 82, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lucile Wellman 
of 447 Vessey, Portland.

he was a retired employee of Reo Motor Car company in Lansing and had lived in 
Portland the past 38 years.

He is survived by four sons, Martin, Jr. Thomas and Hugh of Portland and Ardis 
of Stanton; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Wellman, Hovita Honsowitz, Mrs. Sophia 
Lenneman and Mary Jane Honsowitz all of Portland; 17 grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Neller funeral home in Portland. 
Rev. Raymond Norton will officiate and burial will be at Portland Cemetery.

Bearers will be Forrest Wellman, Jr., John Wellman, Joseph, Michael and Martin 
G. Honsowitz and Burr parker.
