Ionia County News – Thursday, 7 March 1935
Mrs. Clara J. Hooper, of 212 Cleveland Street, died at her home Saturday, 
March 2, after a long illness.  Funeral services were held at the Baptist 
church Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. following a service at the home, with the Rev. F. J. 
Fitch officiating.  The members of the women’s relief corps held burial rites 
at the church and attended the funeral in a body.  The Lady Maccabees, of 
Lansing attended the services in a body.  Interment was at the Highland Park 
mausoleum.
