Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Jul 1963

Mrs. Dedie I. Hoople, 77, of 237 East Lincoln avenue died early Friday morning
at Ionia rest home where she had been a patient one month.  She was born March
20, 1886 in Ionia township, the daughter of Eugene and Linna Knapp.  In 1909 she
was married to Herman Hoople who preceded her in death in 1959.

Lifetime residents of Ionia county, they moved to Ionia city in 1923.  Mrs.
Hoople was a member of First Christian church, Bethany circle, Order of Eastern
Star and Bro-Lad club.

The body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until Monday noon when it will
be taken to First Christian church where Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor, will
conduct funeral service at 2 p.m.  Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
