He was born November 12, 1940 in Ionia, Michigan, son of William and Thelma (Decker) Hoople. Frank married Faith Holcomb on June 9, 1962 together raising four children together. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, twelve years active duty and an additional 10 in the Naval Reserves. Fran attended Palo United Methodist Church and was a member of the Carson City American Legion. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts. Frank loved hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children; rRichard (Callie) Hoople of Arkansas, Steve (Jill) Hoople of Saranac, Troy (Rebecca) Hoople of Saranac and Dawn Hoople of Nevada. Grandchildren: Kevin (Amy) Hoople, Laura (Matt) Lambert, Samatha (Kris) Crane, Keisha Hoople, Kristina Hoople and Gavin Hoople. Great-grandchildren: Cannon, Kayden, Gatlin, Gauge, Marcus, Riley and Carrick. Siblings; Karen Ackerson, Kay (Gene) Kowatch, Kathy (Tim) Tyler and Robert (Linda) Hoople. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Franks life at Pathway a Wesleyan Church, 4960 Portland Rd. Saranac, MI 48881 Wednesday, June 9th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Lipscomb officiating.
