                             WILLIAM G.HOOPLE

William G.Hoople, 89, formerly of 442 Hill died Friday at Ionia Manor.

Born December 27, 1882, in Ronald Township he was the son of Mr.and Mrs.Alvin 
Hoople. He had resided in Ionia County all his life the past 53 years in Ionia. 
He was employed at Ypsilanti Reed Furniture Company and its successors since the 
early 1950's. Prior to that he was employed by American Railroad Express in the 
1920's.

He was a member of the Palo Methodist church, October 12, 1906, he was married 
to Maude Beach, who died February 9, 1950.

Surviving are a son, William, Jr. of Palo; seven daughters, Mrs.Zellah Bailey of 
Muir, Mrs.Frances Piece and Mrs.Caroline Jewell of Ionia. Mrs.Lenore Roberts of 
Pontiac, Mrs.Hazel Clark of Saranac, Mrs.Beulah Hill of Ionia. Mrs.Valeta 
Redemsky of Williston, Fla., 20 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers-Roetman Funeral Home. Rev. 
Charles Fulmer will officiate and interment will be at Balcom Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in memory of his wife to the cancer fund.

Family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
