Hoseth Hoover, 80, of Lowell, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007, at Metron of Belding. Bonnie was born in Wilton, N.D., on March 3, 1927, to Carl and Mable Peterson Hoseth. As a tiny infant, along with her mother and three siblings, she rode on a passenger train to Flint to meet up with her father, who had found a job at the Buick Plant. It was quite a feat for someone so small. Perhaps that is where her strong spirit came from. After being ravaged by the awful disease of Alzheimer’s for nearly 10 long years, Bonnie left this hell on earth on April 20, 2007. Before Bonnie passed away, she at last found peace by being comforted and cared for by the wonderful, supportive staff at Metron of Belding, especially angels Bevin Rowland and Cindy Wireman. A special thanks to Julie from the family. Bonnie’s great sense of humor, her extraordinary inner strength and her fear of leaving loved ones kept her going as Alzheimer’s destroyed her life. Now at last Bonnie is with the ones she loved so dearly who left before her. She has finally gone home, which she wanted to do for so many years. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mabel Hoseth; brothers, Wallace “Ted,” Jackie, and Erwin Hoseth; former spouse Robert L. Hoover; and brother-in-law Neil Geelhoed. Those who remain behind, missing and loving Bonnie are her sister, Phyllis Geelhoed; brother, Robert and Bonnie Hoseth; daughters, Karen and William Alles, Marcia Hoover; and grandchildren, Craig Alles, Sam Laase and Kirk Alles. Bonnie loved children and was blessed with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brigham Funeral Chapel, 303 S. Bridge St., Belding. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Please make memorial donations in memory of Bonnie to the Alzheimer’s Association Research Department.
