Ionia Standard – Friday, 27 March 1914
The funeral services for Mrs. Fernando Hoover will be conducted by Rev. 
Chapman at 1:00 Friday afternoon at the home.  Burial will be in Woodard Lake 
cemetery.  Miss Sarah Hoover Wednesday from Chicago, and Mr. Hoover’s sister, 
Mrs. Vorce, has come from Muir.  Word from brothers in Wisconsin and New York 
has not been received.  Mrs. Hoover was 52 years old at the time of her death.

Mrs. Fernando Hoover of Ronald died late this morning.  She returned Saturday 
morning from Chicago, where she visited her daughter Sarah, at the Art 
Institute.  She has been in poor health for a long time but her death was 
sudden.  A son Joseph and her husband survive.
