Taylor was born at Gaines, Mich., Nov. 11, 1865, and died at her home three miles south of Lyons Oct. 29, 1911. She was married to Albert Hopkins Jan. 1, 1886, and has lived in Lyons township for nearly twenty-six years. Eleven children have been born to them, of whom ten survive, who with the husband and a large number of relatives and friends mourn her loss. The funeral services were held from the farm home Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Wm. Judd. Music was furnished by Mrs. A. E. Bradt and I.A. Balch with Miss Gladys Grove as accompanist. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The pall bearers were Elmer, Charles and James Hopkins and Albert Schuerer. Interment in Lyons cemetery.
