Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 12 Sep 1962

Mrs. Ileea Hopkins, 72, died at her home on Elizabeth street in Lyons following 
a heart attack at 10 o’clock Tuesday night after attending the funeral of her 
husband, Elmer N. Hopkins in the afternoon.  They were married in 1961 and he 
died last Saturday at University hospital in Ann Arbor.  Burial was at Lyons.

Mrs. Hopkins was born at Howard City, May 19, 1890, the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. William Engelman.  She is survived by a sister in Howard City.

The body of Mrs. Hopkins was taken to Meier-Scott funeral home in Howard City, 
Wednesday.  Local arrangements were by Shaw.
