Funeral services for Lillian Alice Hopkins, 46, of Lyons who died at the 
University hospital in Ann Arbor Friday at 5 p.m., were conducted at the family 
home Tuesday at 2 p.m. following a private family prayer service at 1:30 p.m.  
The Rev. Fr. John G. Carlton, pastor of the St. John’s Episcopal church where 
she was a member, officiated.  Interment was in Lyons cemetery.  

Bearers were Charles, Albert, James, Nathaniel, Elmer and Alfred Hopkins.  
Flower cars? were in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gladding and Mr. and Mrs. 
Chet Gladding.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Marshall of Pontiac; Mr. 
and Mrs. Tom Marshall jr., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall and daughter, Mr. and 
Mrs. Elgin Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thome/
Thorne?, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Drougel?, Mrs. Ann Hart, Mrs. Maxine Beatty?, John 
Walker and Park Watkins of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burger of Detroit; 
Mr. and Mrs. John Walker of Dearborn; Fred Newton of Chicago; Mrs. John Dumon 
of Big Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rice and Mr. and Mrs. Don O’Neill of Belding; 
Mr. and Mrs. Robert McNally, Mr. and Mrs. Belmont Burger, Mr. and Mrs. Richard 
Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Norris/Morris? of Long Lake; and Mr. and Mrs.
