Ionia Daily Standard, 14 Jul 1892

Nathaniel P. Hopkins, the well-known farmer of Lyons township, died yesterday 
morning, from paralysis.  It is said he had suffered seven separate strokes 
during the six years last past.  He was aged 72 years, and was a much respected 
citizen.
