Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Feb 1960

Mrs. Olive Hopkins, 69, died at 8 p.m. Friday at Blodgett hospital in Grand 
Rapids.  She had been ill a long time.  She was born November 4, 1891 at Evart, 
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Tripp, and graduated from Evart high school.  
She was married to Elmer Hopkins of Lyons, October 4, 1913, and lived all her 
married life in that vicinity.  Mrs. Hopkins was a member of the Lyons 
Methodist church, and the WSCS.  She was past worthy matron of the Evergreen 
Chapter OES of Lyons.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Lyons Methodist church.  
The body is at the Myers funeral home and will be taken to her residence in 
Lyons Sunday afternoon.
