Belding – Wilford A. Hopkins, 61, 11345 S. Greenville Road, Greenville, passed
away Monday, July 14, 1997, at his residence.  He was born Feb. 10, 1936, in
Hasting, to Miles B. and Mary Plina Baughman Hopkins.

He is survived by his friend Madeline Lepley Hopkins of Greenville; one son,
James Hopkins and his fiancée, Tina Graham, of Greenville; one sister, Myrna
Main of Belding; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Merl Hopkins of Belding,
Earl and Ruth Hopkins, Cleo and Fern Hopkins, all of Fenwick; several nieces and
nephews.  He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Hopkins, in 1972.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home,
Belding, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in River
Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the funeral home.
