Ionia Daily Standard, 26 Oct 1901

Frank Hopkins, a frail lad of 16 years of age, a son of W.F. Hopkins who works
the Sanford farm, west of the Michigan Reformatory, died at an early hour this
morning, of heart disease.  The boy has always been of small stature, and frail,
and yesterday was taken ill while at school (the prison school.).
