Grace M. Hopkins 1956-2017
Grace M Hopkins, 61, of Orleans, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, 
January 9, 2017, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Grace was born on January 2, 
1956 in Ionia, the daughter of Gilbert and Katheen (Lehman) Rowley,
 
In earlier years, Grace attended Ionia Public schools and later worked at 
Electrolux in Greenville for 28 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially bear 
hunting and spending time hunting at their property in the upper Peninsula near 
Lake Superior. Grace enjoyed spending time with family, especially around a good 
bonfire and had liked helping on the family farm. She will be greatly missed by 
hr family and many friends. Grace married Albert M. Hopkins III on Aug. 18, 1973 
at the family farm.

She is loved and survived by her husband, Albert; daughter, Katie (Jeffrey) 
Pinkston of Orleans; siblings, Vern (Diane) Rowley, Carolyn (Bob) Darnell, 
Clifford (Bren) Rowley, Lorraine (Ralph) Montgomery; and brother-in-law, David 
Parks all of Ionia; brother-in-laws Dennis (Donna) Hopkins fo Fenwick, Sandra 
(Bob) Kelly of Mulliken, Doug (Rhonda) Hopkins of Kenton, Mary Lee Farmer (Greg 
Nummer) of Orleans; many nieces, great-nephews, and many friends. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathy Parks; and brother, Gibby Rowley.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, jan 13, 2017 at Shiloh Community 
Church, Orleans with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Committal prayers will 
follow in Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-3 
p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be
