The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 13, 1962
Funeral services for Elmer N. Hopkins were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Lyons 
Methodist church with Rev. Williams Reynders officiating.  Mrs. Jerry Fell was 
the organist.  Full Masonic services were given by Lyons lodge F&AM No. 37 of 
Lyons of which Mr. Hopkins was a life member.  Carl Miller of Wacousta had 
charge of the service at the church and at the graveside.  Bearers were Lloyd 
Burger, Hugh M. Kelley, Owen S. Smith, Raymond Cutler, Stephen W. Kimball and 
Wesley Sprague.  Burial was in Lyons cemetery.
