Ionia Daily Sentinel – Friday – 19 January 1912
The funeral service for Mrs. J. W. Hopkinson was attended at the Evangelical 
church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. D. C. Ostroth officiating, and the singing 
being by Mesdames Thane Benedict and G. M. Phelps.  Interment was in Highland 
Park and the carriers were Edward Banhagel, George Banhagel, Seymour Showerman 
and Edmond Kent.  Deceased was born in Ionia, and aged 40 years, and of the 
immediate family leaves only the husband.
