Virginia Mae Hoppes, age 70, of Portland, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007.
 She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bernard “Bud” Hoppes, Jr.;
children: Anthony (Terri) Hoppes, Jeffrey (Marcia) Hoppes, Suzanna “Sue” (Greg)
Goodman, Tammie (Craig) Fields; grandchildren: T.J. Hoppes, Brianna Hoppes,
Tasha Daily, Katie Fitts, Angie (Rick) Hickling, Randy Hoppes, Lisa Hoppes,
Christine and Samantha Hoppes, Ryan Goodman, Jordan (Renae) Goodman, Jena
Goodman and Angelina Henandez-Fields; 7 great grandchildren; stepmother,
Charlene Pearson; brother, William (Janet) Pearson.  Mass of Christian Burial
was celebrated Wednesday, December 19, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland
with Rev. Larry King presiding.  Rite of Committal followed in Meadowbrook
Cemetery, Mulliken.  Arrangements by the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E.
Bridge St., Portland.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s
choice.
