Portland Observer, 12 Apr 1928

Frank Hoppough, for over half a century a resident of Orleans township, died 
early Tuesday morning following a stroke suffered last Thursday while seated at 
the supper table.  He was a brother of Mark Hoppough, former sheriff of Ionia 
county.

[Transcriber’s Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried 
in Hurd Cemetery in Orleans.]
