Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Jan 1938

George Hoppough of Orleans, died at the Belding hospital Thursday morning at
7:10 from complications resulting from an appendicitis operation.  Mr. Hoppough
was born in Orleans, January 23, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hoppough.  In
1929, he married Alberta Frost who survives him.  He also leaves for children,
George Guy 8, Bobbie 6, Bonnie Lou 4, and Jerry 2.  He is survived by three
sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Irene Warden of Orleans, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson
of Portland, Mrs. Lylia McCain of Flint, and Raymond and Floyd Hoppough of
Orleans, and Frank Hoppough of Ionia.  Funeral arrangements have not been
completed.  Mr. Hoppough spent his life in Ionia county and attended the Piper
school.
