Sentinel-Std. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1964

Word was received Wednesday morning of the death of Mrs. Florence Hoppough, 79, 
of Eugene, Ore.

Mrs. Hoppough, a former resident of Woodard lake area, was born May 16, 1864, 
daughter of Arthur and Annie Smith.

She is survived by a son, Robert L. Hoppough of Chico, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. 
Florence Jacobsen of Eugene, Ore.; one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice 
Warden of Orleans and Mrs. Hazel Higbee of Belding; one brother, A. Philo Smith 
of Long Island, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Lee Hoppough, preceded her in death about 40 years ago.

A memorial service is to be held in Eugene with burial in New York.
