Ionia Standard, 26 Sep 1890

Muir – Mrs. John Hopson died Thursday.  A baby only a few weeks old is left 
motherless.  The funeral will take place on Saturday.  Leave the house at 8 
o’clock a.m.  Interment at Hubbardston.  Mrs. Hopson was only 22 years of age.  
Her bereaved husband and child have the sympathy of the entire community in 
their sad affliction.
