Louis H. Horn, 85, of Stoud, Okla., former Ionia resident, died Tuesday at Kent Community Hospital, Grand Rapids. Born May 12, 1904, and Wexford County, he was the son of Fred and Martha Moody Horn. He attended Hastings High School and Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. He was an ordained minister of the Assembly of God. He was married to Edna J. Green in 1930; she died in October 1984. He was pastor at churches in Fenton, Detroit, Portland, Ionia and Rockford, Ill., before his retirement in 1975. Surviving are a son, Marshall Horn, of Stroud, Okla.; a daughter, Carol Green of Ionia; a brother, John Horn, of Lodi, Ohio; four sisters, Mabel Foreman of Battle Creek, Esther Horn of Elkhart, Ind., Ruth Anders of Hastings, and Evelyn Hendra of Cass City, Mich. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Ionia. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. from the Sheridan Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. James Wilcox and the Rev. Bert Glassburn officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. The family will be at Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, on Thursday. Visitors may call on Friday until11 a.m. A memorial has been established for the Ionia Assembly of God, in care of the funeral chapel.
