April 7, 1916 OBITUARY Christina Zutavern was born in Seneca county, Ohio, Feb. 7,1841, ad departed this life March 31, 1916, aged 75 years, one month and 24 days. On Feb. 12, 1862, she was united in marriage to Jacob Horn, who preceded her eight years ago. To this union eight children were born, three boys and five girls, one son and two daughters having preceded her to the spirit world. She was early converted and joined the U.B. church, and was a faithful and consistent member of the church until her death. She expressed her desire often to go home and be at rest. She was a good wife and loving mother. She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters, two sons, 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters, and a host of friends. The funeral services were held at Woodbury church Sunday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Isaac Mourer, who was assisted by the pastor, Rev. Freece. Interment took place in Lakeside cemetery Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me: And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea. But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell And after that the dark And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark. For though from out our bourne of time and place The flood may bear me far. I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crost the bar. CARD OF THANKS We wish hereby to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the kind neighbors, friends and the choir, and those who contributed flowers, and all who in any way assisted us in the death and burial of our dear mother.
