F.M. Hornbeck of Ionia city, one of the old pioneers of Bloomer township, died at 
his home April 18th, and was buried at Palo, Friday the 20th inst.

Dan E. Hornbeck of Royal Oak spent a few days the past week with his sister, Mrs. 
H.F. Gardner, and while here they had the body of their father removed from the 
Palo cemetery to the lot in the Lyons cemetery.
