Daily Sentinel-Standard - Friday Oct. 17, 1919

Mrs. Susan Horrigan, who has been in failing health for five months died on 
Thursday at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Horrigan had been a resident of Ionia for 
nearly fifty years, coming here soon after her marriage to Michael Horrigan in 
New York state. Here the four children were born, Mrs. Eliza Haight of Ionia, 
Mrs. Laura Williams of Grand Rapids, Edward Horrigan of Davenport, Ia., and 
Henry Horrigan of Detroit. All these with her husband survive Mrs. Horritan's 
death. 


TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 1919 - DAILY SENTINEL STANDARD
The funeral for Mrs. Susan Horrigan was held Monday afternoon at the home at 
659 East Main street, Rev. C.E. Hoag of Grand Rapids and Rev. Meader 
officiating. Mrs. R.A. Colwell furnished the music. The bearers were the two 
sons, Ed. and Henry Horrigan, the two sons-in-law Charles Haight and C.T. 
Williams of Grand Rapids and Levi Marshall and Frank C. Miller. Interment was 
in Highland Park.
