Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 Jul 1933

Geraldine Horrocks, nine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Horrocks, living west of
Dildine, died in the Ionia hospital early Friday morning where she had been
admitted late Thursday evening suffering from streptococcus infection of the
bone of her leg which followed injury sustained in a fall.  The child and her
parents were visiting her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gee, of Caledonia,
Sunday, the day she fell.  Although it continually gave her pain from the hour
of her fall the injury was not considered so serious until Thursday.

Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, one older and one younger, also
her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Horrocks, of Sheridan, and her
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Gee, of Lyons.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon 3 o’clock, at the Dildine
church.  Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
