The funeral services will be conducted Sunday by Dr. M.W. Duffey, 2 o'clock at the house and 2:39 at the Easton Community church. Mr. Horrocks was born in Berlin township and had lived a large part of his life in Easton township. Several years ago he conducted a general store where the Stoddard & Buxton store is. He had been manager of the meat department of a Kroger store in Grand Rapids and had owned a meat market in Lansing returning to the farm in Easton three years ago. He had never been as active in agricultural pursuits he had been in the meat and general merchandise, business, but different times had run the (unreadable word)and a meat market in conjunction. He was a member of the Easton Community church. Surviving are the widow and son, Deo, at home; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Robert Hanline of South Ionia; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Robbins of Battle Creek; two brothers Willis, of Prairie Creek and William of Battle Creek.
