Daily Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, June 24, 1948

Funeral services for William Horrocks, 71, who died suddenly Monday noon were 
held from the Myers funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. 
Howard Johnson, Pastor of the Lincoln Avenue Baptist church, officiating. 
Interment was in Saranac cemetery.

HIs bearers were Roy Horrocks, Judd Horrocks, Carl Cruthers and Robert Hanline, 
jr. 

Out of town persons attending the services were Willis Horrocks and Mr. and 
Mrs. Raymond Brace of Lake George, Mrs. Daisy Bush, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Robins 
and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Robins of Battle Creek, Edward Cruthers of 
Wolcuttville, Ind.; and Mr. and Mrs. George Gould and Glenn Gould of 
Greenville.
