                                CASSIE C. HORTON

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Cassie Cynthia Horton, 77, at 
Huffman Funeral Home. Mrs. Horton, 1706 Division Ave. died Saturday June 12 at 
the Lutheran Home for Aged in Grand Rapids.

Officiating at the service was Rev.Father Charles E.Steves.Interment was in 
Saranac Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lany Allen, George Cross, Arnold Cross, 
Ronald Bush and Lewis Chlebek.

Mrs.Horton, born October 19, 1894, was the daughter of David and Alice Scott 
Stevens. She was married to Jack Horton, who died in 1964. She was previously 
employed as a cashier in a supermarket.

Mrs.Horton is survived by one daughter, Mr.Lewis (Erma) Chlebek of Grattan one 
son, Larry A.Allen of Wyoming, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Ora Allen of Grand 
Rapids; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
