Horton, which occurred Friday last at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary McIntyre, came with quite a shock to his friends as he had been sick but a short time and it was not generally known that his condition was dangerous. The cause was catarrh pneumonia. He had been an employee in the refrigerator factory for eight years and continued there up to three weeks before he died. Besides his mother he left one sister, who is married and lives in Barry county. He was 42 years of age. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock, burial at the Belding cemetery. Mrs. McIntyre requests the BANNER to extend her thanks to the friends who gave her kindly aid and assistance during this affliction.
