Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Jan. 29, 1937

Abbie N. Hosey, 68, the wife of Alfred Hosey, died Wednesday of that week in 
the St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, where she was taken from her home in Grand 
Ledge.

The funeral for the former Ionia resident is to be held Saturday morning at St. 
Michael's Catholic church and burial will be at the Mt. Olivet cemetery at 
Ionia.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Hosey is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Nye of 
Charlotte; a son, Alfred Hosey Jr., of Grand Ledge; two brothers, Edward Peets 
of Lansing; and Michael Peets of Beaumont, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary 
Shelton of Grand Rapids; and Mrs. Mary Lehman of Silsby, Tex. There are 10 
grandchildren.
