Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Dec 1965

A longtime resident of Ionia, Mrs. Julia Hosford, 91, died at 10 o’clock Monday
night at Ionia County Memorial hospital shortly after being admitted.  She had
made her home at 326 Stivens street.  Mrs. Hosford was employed at Ypsilanti
Reed Furniture company for many years.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Groch Ovinia and was a member of Rosary society and SS Peter and Paul Catholic
church.

Her survivors include a son, George Hosford of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs.
Marion Boardman of Hinsdale, Ill.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at Boynton funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral
Mass is tentatively set for Thursday at 9 a.m., at SS Peter and Paul church with
interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
